優秀的旅法歸國薩克斯風演奏家林寬，將與觀眾一同用音樂分享精彩的旅行記憶。音樂會也特別邀請新生代實力派小提琴演奏家林安祈及旅歐音樂家陳維志、石川一同演出。

音樂會提供即時的知識性補給，使觀眾更能深入了解作曲家、曲目背景，更加投
入在這場音樂的旅途中。

有別於傳統音樂會，策劃音樂會以劇場式思考作為發想，使古典音樂不再因曲高
和寡而流失觀眾。在不失專業的準則下，使古典音樂以平易近人及新穎的呈現方
式推廣至台灣群眾，顛覆大眾對古典音樂無趣、沈悶的印象。期許古典音樂能夠
更加深耕在台灣藝文產業，成為人人樂意同享的珍貴文化

Kuan Lin is a young brightest saxophonist specializing in classical music and interdisciplinary performances. He started to play saxophone when he was 10 yrs old. When he was 17, he won the first prize of National Competition of Music, so then he decided to study abroad in order to pursue the conventional classical saxophone training. Kuan graduated from the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Paris (Diploma of DEM), with “l’unanimite avec fecilitation” in 2017. During his life in France, he was frequently invited to perform in Paris city hall and presidential Hall.

Inspired by the avant-garde and interdisciplinary arts in Paris, Kuan dedicates to challenge audio-visual sensory experience of concert audience. Therefore, he collaborated with artists from different fields (such as sounds artist Sue-ya Wang, media artist Ying-Shen Liu) to explore the possibility of sound and visual impacts in performances.

Whether performing modern or classical works, engaging unexpected musical forms, Kuan aims to break people’s traditional concept of a classical concert and the outdated habitus in the concert hall. He devotes to stimulate audience’s imaginations and potentials of being “narrator” of art/music pieces rather than a receiver.

Besides many of Kuan Lin’s concerts, in December 2018, he introduced experimental media music in the concert “PARIS EST UNE FÊTE” in National Taichung Theatre, winning the highest subsidy of recital by National Culture and Arts Foundation. The tickets were sold out within only a month, which can be seen as a great success in the history of Taiwanese young musicians’ concerts.

Kuan Lin’s recent concerts was at 12th December 2019 in Taichung National Theatre. He will also have a recital at 23rd May 2020 in National Concert Hall.
